Want to make something for Thanksgiving that feels festive but also makes you feel great afterwards? This autumn harvest punch is packed with so much flavor that when you serve it to your family and friends, they won't even realize how healthy it is! With fall flavors like apples, oranges, rosemary and lemon, this punch is sure to hit the spot.
Ingredients You Need
- 1 tablespoon Cranberry Apple Tart (or another yummy tea blend)
- 2 cups hot water
- 1 can sparkling water (unflavored or your favorite flavored one)
- 1/2 cup frozen berries (mixed berries, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries: add what you have and what you like)
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 1 crisp apple, diced
- 1/2 orange, sliced or 2 clementines, peeled
- 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds
- 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
- Optional: 1/2 cup grape juice (don't include if you are trying to cut out sugar completely)
How To Make This Thanksgiving Punch
- Make your tea. Add your Cranberry Apple Tart to your hot water and brew for 15 minutes.
- While the tea is brewing, cut your fruit. It doesn't have to be cut beautifully, since we will be muddling it anyway!
- Next, add your chopped fruit, rosemary and your grape juice into a large pitcher. At this step, muddle (smash) it! You can use a muddler, or even the back of a wooden spoon. Muddling it will help release all the juices and flavors. If you want it to look prettier, you can skip this step, but know that you will be missing out on some of the sweetness and flavor!
- Next, strain your tea and pour over your smashed fruit. Give it a nice stir.
- Cover the punch with a ton of ice and then top with the can of sparkling water. Give it a light stir.
- Serve into individual glasses and enjoy your delicious autumn punch! I hope you love it as much as I do :)
