If your nighttime routine currently consists of being exhausted all day... only to suddenly feel wide awake the second you get into bed, you’re not alone.
High cortisol levels from chronic stress can leave your nervous system feeling overstimulated at night, making it harder to fully relax, stay asleep, and wake up feeling rested.
That’s why we love this Calming Cherry Cooler recipe.
This refreshing nighttime drink combines our Cortisol Evening Tea with tart cherry juice, creating the perfect balance of calming herbs and natural sleep-supporting compounds in one delicious, iced tea-style drink.

This cooler is perfect in the evening, a few hours before bed, especially after stressful days when your nervous system feels overstimulated. Drink it daily for best results.
We especially love it during warmer months when you want something calming and refreshing.
Simple Adjustments
- Add sparkling water for a mocktail-style twist
- Use honey or maple syrup if you prefer it sweeter
- Add fresh cherries or orange slices for an extra fancy feel
- Prefer fruitier flavors or can't have ashwagandha? Swap the Cortisol Evening Tea for our Cortisol Sleep Tea instead
- Not a fan of cold drinks? Don't add the ice
FYI, a fun glass and a reusable straw make this even better
About the Cortisol Evening Tea
This recipe uses our Cortisol Evening Tea, which is a blend of nervine and adaptogenic herbs that nourish and calm your nervous system, support a healthy stress response, lower high cortisol levels, and ease tension in the body.
Can't do ashwagandha? Swap it for The Cortisol Sleep Tea for a fruitier and equally delicious version.

Why Tart Cherry Juice at Night?
Tart cherry juice has become popular in the wellness world because it naturally contains melatonin, the hormone that helps regulate your sleep-wake cycle.
Some studies suggest tart cherry juice may help support longer sleep duration and improved sleep quality, especially when consumed regularly before bed. It’s also rich in antioxidants and plant compounds that may help support recovery and reduce inflammation caused by chronic stress.
Combined with calming nervine herbs and adaptogens, this cooler becomes an easy and delicious way to support your body’s natural ability to relax at night.
And honestly? It feels way more fun than another plain glass of water.
