If you're looking for a healthy breakfast that actually doesn't taste like grass, you've found the right place! This Tropical Matcha Green Smoothie is creamy, sweet and nourishing. I know you are going to love the taste and how it makes you feel.
The base for the smoothie is our tea Tropical Vacation, which is an organic summery blend of antioxidant-rich White Peony tea with chunks of sweet oranges and luscious flavor notes of pineapple, apricots, and tropical coconut.
Rich in iron from the spinach, anti-inflammatory enzymes from the pineapple, vitamin c from the peach, antioxidants from the Matcha Powder, healthy fats from the coconut milk and natural sweetness from the dates and banana, this smoothie will reduce inflammation and heal you from the inside out, while tasting delicious.
Let's get to the recipe!
Tropical Matcha Green Smoothie Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup spinach
- 1 frozen overripe banana
- 1/2 cup frozen pineapple
- 1/2 cup frozen peach
- 2 pitted medjool dates
- 1 tsp Matcha Powder
- 1 cup Tropical Vacation tea (1 teaspoon of tea steeped in 1 cup hot water for 5 minutes, then strained)
- 1 cup coconut milk
You can either get the fruits frozen at the store or cut them up fresh and freeze (4 hours to overnight) before making the smoothie!
How to Make It:
Blend all the ingredients in a blender on high speed until completely smooth! If you like it thicker, add less liquid, if you like it thinner, add some water until it's a desired texture for you. I like mine personally made just like this!
If you're looking for an awesome blender, I have two recommendations that I have used personally! If you're looking for a blender that will last a lifetime, Vitamix is the best brand for that, in my opinion. If you're looking for a more economic option, this one is also very good and comes with a lot more options for blending (blending cups, food processor).
I hope you enjoy your smoothie! Tag me on Instagram or TikTok when you make it. I love to see your creations!
