1. How to Choose the Right Tea

How do I choose the right tea for me?

Start with your primary goal (stress support, sleep, digestion, blood sugar balance, overall wellness, etc.). Each blend is formulated with a specific intention. If you’re unsure, take our quiz to get your tea match in seconds: Take the quiz

Can I drink more than one tea at a time?

Yes. Many customers use more than one tea. We recommend starting with 2 teas first, then adding others to get in the routine of drinking them every day without getting overwhelmed.

Can I mix different teas?

Yes. You can mix teas, keeping flavor combinations and caffeine content in mind.

Some that pair well together:

Evening Cortisol + Inflammation Relief

Daytime Cortisol + Blood Pressure

Daytime Cortisol+ Menopause

Liver Cleanse + Detox Chai

Inflammation Relief + Daily Detox

Bye Bye Bloat + Joint Support

Cortisol Sleep Tea + Inflammation Relief

How long should I try a tea before switching?

We recommend using a tea consistently for at least 90 days to experience the full range of its benefits. Our teas are gentle, safe, and designed to work best when enjoyed as part of a long-term daily routine.

That said, there’s no strict rule. If you’d like to add another tea, you can do so at any time. If you feel ready to discontinue one and try another, you can switch whenever your body tells you it’s time or when the symptoms you were supporting have eased.

2. What to Expect When You Start

How do I prepare the tea?

Use 1 teaspoon of loose‑leaf tea per 8 oz of hot water. Most herbal teas benefit from steeping for 5 minutes or longer. Exact directions and steeping time are printed on the packaging.

You can find many fun brewing essentials to make your tea here

How much should I drink?

Most people enjoy 1–2 cups per day. You don’t need to overdo it, consistency matters more than quantity. Starting with one cup daily is a great way to see how your body responds.

When should I drink the tea? With or without food?

None of our teas require food beforehand; they can be enjoyed with or without meals. Each blend will have a suggested time of day for best use, which you’ll find on the front of the package and on the product page on our website.

What if I hate the taste?

Taste preferences can take time to adjust, especially with herbal teas. You can:

  • Drink it quickly and follow with water

  • Turn it into a latte with milk

  • Add cinnamon, mint, or lemon

  • Enjoy it iced or with sparkling water

If one blend doesn’t suit your palate, it’s okay to explore other options.

What should I expect during the first week of drinking my tea?

During the first week, you may notice mild shifts such as changes in digestion, energy, sleep, or overall mood. These are often part of your body adjusting to something new. Although there are people who report experiencing dramatic results within the first few cups, this is less common and should not be an expectation.

What should I expect after 30 days?

After about 30 days of consistent use, many people start to feel more familiar with how the tea fits into their routine. Subtle benefits may become easier to notice as your body continues adjusting. It is common to start feeling the desired results around the 30 day mark.

What should I expect after 60 days?

Around 60 days, consistency really starts to matter. This is often when people feel more settled into a rhythm and better able to tell whether the tea is supporting them in the way they hoped. The benefits of the tea start becoming more obvious as your body has acclimated to the regular use. While most people are experiencing the full benefits of the tea, everyone's body is unique, and your body might be still in the process of undoing ten or more years of old habits and patterns.

What should I expect after 90 days?

We recommend using a tea for at least 90 days to experience the full scope of its benefits. Herbal teas are designed to work best with long-term, daily use rather than quick fixes. If you have been consistent with drinking your tea and after 90 days, you're still not experiencing the full benefits, don't be discouraged. Your body didn't become unbalanced overnight. In natural health practices, we follow the guideline that you will need to drink your tea for a month for every year that you have been experiencing your health concern. For example, if you have been dealing with chronic inflammation or stress for ten years, then plan on sticking with your tea for ten months or longer.

How long should I really give it?

Ideally, give a tea 90 days of consistent use before deciding if it's working or not. All of our teas are safe for long-term daily use and are formulated to support the body gently over time.

What happens if I keep switching and don’t give it time?

Frequently switching teas can make it harder to understand how your body is responding. Giving one tea enough time allows you to clearly assess whether it’s right for you. The exception to this guideline is if your body has an allergic reaction, in which case, stop it right away.

What happens if I stop?

If you stop drinking the tea, its supportive effects may gradually fade, similar to stopping any daily wellness habit. There’s no harm in stopping, but consistency is what allows herbs to do their best work.

What can I do to make it work better?

Consistency is key. Drinking your tea regularly, following preparation directions, and pairing it with supportive daily habits can make a noticeable difference. Some of these wellness habits include staying hydrated, getting daily moderate exercise, and reducing sugar and processed foods. A positive mindset also powerfully contributes to your overall health and wellbeing.

Listening to your body and adjusting timing or frequency can also help.

If this isn’t working, what should I switch to?

There’s no exact timeline for switching. If your symptoms have improved or your needs have changed, you can switch whenever it feels right. Please feel free to reach out to our team for guidance.

What’s not normal? When should I contact support or a healthcare provider?

What’s not normal is anything that feels intense, uncomfortable, or long-lasting. Ongoing digestive discomfort, persistent headaches, hives, dizziness, nausea, or symptoms that worsen over time are signs to stop using the tea.

If something doesn’t feel right, trust your body. Discontinue use and reach out to our customer support team, info@looseleafmarket.com

3. Is This Safe for Me?

Can I drink these teas if I’m on medication or supplements?

Our teas are made from food‑grade botanicals generally regarded as safe. However, if you take medication, review the ingredient list and consult your healthcare provider or pharmacist before trying them. Our teas can be used in combination with most natural supplements.

Can I drink these teas while pregnant or nursing?

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, we recommend consulting your healthcare provider before using herbal teas. Full ingredient lists are available on every product page.

Are these teas safe for long‑term daily use?

Yes, our teas are made with gentle herbs that are meant to be enjoyed daily.

Are there age guidelines?

Our teas are designed for adult use. We do not recommend our teas for children under their teenage years, due to a lack of research to verify safety for children. Teen use should be discussed with a parent or healthcare provider.

What about allergens or sensitivities?

Some blends contain herbs such as lavender, chamomile, or ashwagandha. Our teas do not contain peanuts or tree nuts, or any dairy ingredients. Always review the full ingredient list on the product page before use to check for any of your allergens or sensitivities.

Where to find ingredients on our website

What if I have a pre‑existing health condition?

If you have a health condition or are under medical care, herbal products should be approached thoughtfully. Consult a healthcare provider to ensure a tea is appropriate for you before you use a tea.

4. Our Ingredients & Quality Standards

Where are your teas made?

All of our teas are produced, packaged, and shipped at our facility in Tempe, Arizona.

What standards do your facility and processes follow?

Our teas are produced and packaged in a facility that complies with all applicable food safety and packaging regulations. We follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and maintain strict sanitation, handling, and quality-control procedures throughout every step of production.

Our team uses appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and all products are handled in a clean, controlled environment to ensure safety, consistency, and quality. These standards matter because they help protect the integrity of the herbs, prevent contamination, and ensure that what you receive is safe, fresh, and thoughtfully made.

Where do your ingredients come from?

We use certified organic ingredients sourced from regions around the world where each plant grows best.

How are suppliers vetted and ingredients tested?

Our trusted suppliers perform third‑party testing on all ingredients for agricultural chemicals, mold, heavy metals, and other contaminants before they release them for sale. If there is a problem detected, they do not release the product.

Why does third‑party testing matter?

Third‑party testing helps ensure purity, safety, and quality, protecting our customers.

What does “natural flavors” mean?

Not all natural flavors are alike. The natural flavors that we use are concentrated essences extracted using food‑safe methods. They are certified organic and vegan, not artificial laboratory chemicals. While exact compositions are proprietary, our supplier promises that they contain no junk ingredients, and are free from gluten and the most common allergens.

Why do I see fine particles or sediment in my tea?

Loose leaf tea naturally contains fine herbs, some infusers allow these particles through. This is normal and safe.

Best tea infuser that keeps all particles out

Do your teas contain artificial sweeteners or hidden sugars?

No. We do not add any artificial or natural sweeteners in our teas. Any sweetness comes from the herbs themselves or natural flavoring.

5. Understanding Your Order

What’s the difference between a one‑time purchase and a subscription?

A one‑time purchase ships once. A subscription ships automatically at your chosen frequency and includes savings.

How can I tell which option I selected?

The option you’ve selected will appear highlighted and bright, while the option you did not select will appear faded or greyed out.

If the One-Time Purchase box is bright and outlined, that’s what you’ve selected.
If the Subscribe & Save option is bright and the delivery frequency is highlighted, then a subscription is selected.

You can switch between the two at any time before adding the item to your cart.

one time purchase vs subscription

How do subscriptions work?

Subscriptions bill and ship automatically. Reminder emails are sent before charges. You choose the frequency of shipments (30, 60, or 90 days) when you place your first subscription order.

How do I manage my subscription?

Log into your account to skip, pause, or change frequency. You can also swap the tea for something different.

Shop Pay installments vs. subscriptions, what’s the difference?

Installments split one purchase into payments. Subscriptions are recurring shipments. These are separate systems.

6. Shipping & Fulfillment

How long does shipping take?

Orders are processed first‑come, first‑served. Processing time is separate from carrier transit time.

What do delays mean?

Occasionally, high demand or ingredient availability may cause delays. These are not typical.

How does tracking work?

Tracking information is emailed once your order ships. Sometimes it may be sent to your promotions or spam so be sure to check there.

Why are some items out of stock?

Because our teas are made in small, fresh batches, some items may temporarily sell out. This can happen if an ingredient is seasonal, if we’re waiting on a shipment of organic herbs, or simply due to high demand.

If a product is marked “Last Chance,” that means it is being discontinued and will not be restocked once it sells out.

When an item is temporarily out of stock (and not marked “Last Chance”), it’s usually a short-term pause to maintain quality and freshness. You can sign up for restock notifications on the product page to be the first to know when it returns.

How do I get notified about restocks?

Sign up for restock notifications on the product page.

What should I do if my order is delayed?

Check the tracking information in the email we sent you when your order shipped first, then contact support if needed.

7. Returns & Refunds

What is your return policy?

If you need to return your tea for any reason within the 30 days, you may send back unopened packages of tea to us and we will refund 100% of the cost of the tea upon receipt. Send returns of unopened tea to 232 S River Drive Tempe AZ 85281. Opened teas (at least half full) will be refunded 50%.

Who is responsible for return shipping?

You will be responsible for return shipping in the event you need to send your tea back.

What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?

If your order arrives incorrect (wrong item or missing item), please contact us and we’ll fix our mistake right away.

If your package arrives damaged, or is lost or stolen after being marked delivered, this is covered through our shipping protection, which is added at checkout for a small fee. Shipping protection helps protect your order once it leaves our facility and is in the hands of the carrier.

Shipping protection can only be added at checkout and can’t be added after an order is placed. If you choose not to include shipping protection, any carrier-related issues (loss, damage, theft) would need to be handled by you directly with the shipping carrier.

8. Discounts & Promo Codes

Where do I enter a promo code?

Promo codes are entered at checkout.

How to apply a discount

Why might a promo code not work?

Codes may expire, require a minimum spend, or be a one‑time use code that you used previously. Discount codes do not work with subscriptions, so if you're trying to apply a code with a recurring purchase, go back to your cart and change the subscription to a one time purchase. You can subscribe on your next order. Subscriptions are already discounted anyway, so you're always saving.

Can discounts be applied after purchase?

Discount codes need to be applied at the time of check-out. Always check your email for any discount prior to purchasing. If you encounter difficulties applying a discount code to your order, please reach out to our customer support team, info@looseleafmarket.com

Can promotions be combined?

Promo codes cannot be stacked with other offers.

9. Emails & Communication

Why am I receiving emails?

We send emails for order confirmations, shipping updates, subscription reminders, and educational content.

How often do you send emails?

We send emails during the week, with helpful tips, recipes, and exclusive promotions that are not available to the general public. You can unsubscribe at any time, but why would you want to?

How can I reduce emails but still get order updates?

Welp, don't shoot yourself in the foot and unsubscribe to everything, because you might miss out on a health or tea tip (or a discount) that you really need to know about, but now you'll never know. But... if you really must, you can unsubscribe from marketing emails while continuing to receive updates about your order. Just go to the bottom of your email, and click "Unsubscribe." Easy. Done.
