Soft, subtle complex white tea

White Peony originates from the same plant (Camellia sinensis) that also produces Black, Green, and Oolong teas. Contrary to popular myth, White tea contains about as much caffeine as the other types of tea. White tea is the most minimally processed of all the varieties, and produces the lightest brew, which is why it's called "white" tea. The flavor is warm, soft, subtle, earthy, complex, and fragrant. If you're not used to tea's subtle nuances, you may have to go hunting for the various flavor and aroma notes. Use your nose as you sip and slurp. It's a fun way to drink tea, and you'll discover what the fuss is all about.

Health-wise, this tea is full of antioxidants, and has been shown in research to promote digestive and brain health.

Caffeine levels: medium - high

Brewing instructions:

Steep 1 - 2 teaspoons White Peony in 8 oz. hot water (170 degrees) for 1 to 3 minutes. Adjust amounts and steeping times to personal preference.

Currently my favorite tea from here. It was a nice soft texture. Taste is a bit sweet and slightly nutty. After drinking it leaves me with a satisfied feeling. Personally I like heating the tea to 200 degrees.
