FAQs

Can you drink your tea during pregnancy or when on medication?

Our teas are made from non-toxic botanicals that are generally regarded as safe. However, not all herbal teas are suitable for everyone. If you’re pregnant, on medication, or under a doctor’s care, we recommend speaking to your health practitioner before using the tea.

While there is a wealth of research on the herbs we use, your physician may not be familiar with it and might advise caution. Additionally, your pharmacist can be a helpful resource for checking potential interactions with your prescribed medication.

How long does it take for it to work, and when will I see results?

The time it takes to see results depends on the tea and your purpose for using it. Sedating, sleep-promoting teas typically work quickly, often within an hour. However, for chronic issues like inflammation or fatigue, it can take up to 90 days to notice significant improvements. This doesn’t mean the teas take 90 days to start working; rather, it takes time for the changes to become noticeable.Learn more.

Are your teas organic, and where do you get your ingredients?

With the exception of one or two wild-crafted herbs, we use only certified organic ingredients in all our teas. Our ingredients come from all over the world, sourced from regions where each botanical flourishes best. Our trusted suppliers perform third-party testing for agricultural chemicals, mold, heavy metals, and other contaminants to ensure the highest quality and safety.

How much tea do you use per cup, and how long do you steep it?Ā

When brewing loose leaf tea, the gold standard is one level-to-rounded teaspoon of tea for every eight ounces of hot water. If you’re unsure what eight ounces looks like, use a measuring cup as a guide. Steeping times vary depending on the tea. For most herbal teas, it takes longer to extract all the beneficial compounds, so we typically suggest brewing your tea for five minutes or longer.Learn more.

What if I don’t like the taste of the tea?

If you're new to loose leaf herbal teas, the flavors might be unfamiliar at first. Give your palate time to adjust. If the taste is still challenging, try these tips:

  • Drink the tea quickly, like a shot, and follow with a chaser such as water or juice.
  • Turn it into a tea latte with creamy coconut or oat milk.
  • Add a pinch of cinnamon for natural sweetness and extra health benefits.
  • Add mint for a refreshing flavor that can mask other tastes.
  • Brew the tea with muddled fresh fruit for added sweetness and fruity flavor.

If you still don't enjoy the taste, keep experimenting with different teas. There are many options available, and you're sure to find one you love.

Here areĀ 6 ways to make your tea taste better without adding sweetener.

My body feels great and this tea is delicious

This tea is so delicious and makes my body feels great really good. I have been super sick the last few weeks and this teas helped with my sore throat and stuffy sinuses. I really enjoy the flavor and the steeping cup is so cute. I bought the strainer and the lid and am using a coffee cup I got from a friend for my birthday. I have been steeping the tea two cups per teaspoon of tea leaves.

Recommended!

It took about three weeks of twice daily 16 oz. of the inflammation relief tea, but one day I noticed both my very sore shoulder joints had stopped hurting. Now I brew it along with the cortisol teas and take both at once, and both teas are really helping my soreness and stressedness quite alot. I find if I miss a couple days of the inflammation tea, my shoulders start talking to me again, but only gradually . Even drinking it just once a day helps noticeably. I completely recommend this tea.

Hi Rebecca, thank you so much for sharing your experience! We're happy to hear how well the inflammation relief tea is helping your shoulders and stress. Your recommendation means a lot to us.

Great start to the day

I began my tea journey with the cortisol bundle. Since I've finished those I wanted to try the inflammation tea and bye bye bloating. I begin my day with the inflammation tea and it helps me get through my work. Improved how I feel greatly.

Amazing tea

I have been drinking your Cortisol Daytime and Evening teas for a few months and love results from those two. But yesterday I drank a cup of the Inflamation tea and this morning woke up and was absolutely amazed! Immediately, before I even got out of bed I felt better, joints not so achy and my feet and ankles felt SO much better! My ankles have been so stiff and swollen and this made walking and standing uncomfortable and painful. They just don't feel stiff today! I am sold! I will never go a day without this tea again!! Thank you! Buy this tea....don't hesitate!

This is so amazing to hear, thank you for sharing this with us! We’re so glad you’re feeling that kind of relief, especially waking up and noticing it right away… that’s the best feeling. Really appreciate you being here and sharing your experience!

impressive

this is a keeper for it's taste and effect- Fingers less tight in the mornings and waiting on shoulder stiffness and pain to be helped but probably too soon for that yet as I have had problems for YEARS. Thanks for this winner.

My New Fave, perfect flavor & aroma for me!

I love this tea. The flavor is amazing. It’s immediately calming and relaxing. I don’t like sweet or floral and this tea really hits the mark for me. And by the way, I love the hair color on the woman in the video. Very beautiful!

We’re thrilled to hear this blend hits the mark for you- calming, relaxing, and just the right flavor profile. It means a lot that you’re enjoying it so much. And we’ll pass along your sweet compliment about the video, that will make her day! 😊 Thanks for sharing your experience!

Unexpected relief

I suffer from rheumatoid arthritis, and an annoying additional condition linked to the inflammation of my joints, is post nasal drip and esophagitis all linked to inflammation. Symptoms appear as a white coated tongue, and an annoying cough that interrupts my sleep. Sleep is the best medicine for pain and joint stiffness, so anything I can do to fall and stay asleep is great for me. I started using this tea a month ago, at least daily mostly in the evening. The day after I started drinking this tea, I noticed my tongue was no longer coated, and my urge to cough significantly reduced. A week before I started using this tea I had a CRP blood test ( that measures inflammation) that was unusually high. I’m expecting that when I repeat the test in two months time, the results will be better. I find the taste of the tea similar to chamomile tea, and a little honey make it taste better.
