I was at the grocery store one day and found something I had never seen before: banana milk. I purchased a container so we could try it out. She loved it! The ingredients were pretty clean, but I realized that I can make it for her myself easily, without the need for added thickeners or preservatives, which almost all commercial plant-based milks contain.Â

For this super simple recipe, you will need:
1 cup purified water
1 tablespoon nut or seed butter (I use almond butter, but if you have nut allergies, you can use sunflower seed butter or tahini)
1/3 to 1/2 fresh banana
A tiny pinch of salt
Place all ingredients in a high powered blender and mix until frothy and smooth.Â
