Energizing Spiced Cider Iced Tea to Help Calm Inflammation

When your body feels stiff, achy, or run down, another cup of coffee isn’t always what you need. Sometimes your body is asking for a little more support, especially when inflammation is making it harder to feel energized and comfortable.

This energizing spiced cider iced tea combines our Joint Support Tea with fresh orange, spicy ginger, and cinnamon for a refreshing drink that supports an inflammation-conscious lifestyle while giving you that cozy spiced-cider flavor.

And instead of regular ice, we’re using frozen Joint Support Tea cubes so your drink gets more flavorful as they melt, not watered down.

Let’s make it!

What You'll Need

  • 1–2 cups brewed Joint Support Tea, for ice cubes

  • 1 teaspoon Joint Support Tea

  • About 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, chopped

  • ½ fresh orange

  • 1 cinnamon stick, plus another for garnish

  • Hot water

How to Make It

  • The night before, brew 1–2 cups of Joint Support Tea and let it cool slightly. Pour the tea into an ice cube tray and freeze overnight.

  • When you’re ready to make your iced tea, slice half an orange into rounds and set aside. You’ll use the remaining half for fresh orange juice.

  • Chop about 1 tablespoon of fresh ginger.

  • Add the ginger, 1 cinnamon stick, and 1 teaspoon of Joint Support Tea to your teapot or infuser.

  • Pour hot water over the tea and let it steep for 7–10 minutes.

  • While the tea steeps, place an orange slice in the bottom of your glass. Squeeze in the juice from the remaining orange half.

  • Fill the glass with your frozen Joint Support Tea cubes.

  • Strain the freshly brewed ginger-cinnamon tea over the ice.

  • Give everything a gentle stir, garnish with a cinnamon stick and an extra orange slice, and enjoy!

When to Drink It

Enjoy this spiced cider iced tea whenever you want a refreshing way to support your body. It’s especially nice in the afternoon when your energy starts to dip or after a long day when your body feels tired or stiff.

Because it’s served over Joint Support Tea ice cubes, you can also sip it slowly without worrying about your tea becoming watery.

Simple Adjustments

  • Add an extra slice of ginger if you like more spice.

  • Add a little honey or maple syrup if you prefer a sweeter cider flavor.

  • Add an extra squeeze of orange for more citrus.

  • Prefer it warm? Skip the tea ice cubes and enjoy it straight from the teapot.

  • Make a full tray of Joint Support Tea ice cubes ahead of time so your next iced tea is even easier.

How Ginger, Cinnamon & Orange Help With Inflammation

Fresh ginger, cinnamon, and orange give this recipe its warm, spiced-cider flavor while bringing their own plant compounds to the glass.

Ginger has a long history of traditional use for digestion and contains naturally occurring compounds that have been studied for their role in the body’s inflammatory response. Cinnamon adds warmth and depth, while fresh orange provides vitamin C and a bright citrus flavor that balances the spices.

Together, they turn a simple glass of Joint Support Tea into a refreshing, flavorful drink that feels both invigorating and comforting.
