What Six Mugs Of Daily Detox Did For My Skin And Digestion In One Day

 

I tend to get dehydrated very easily in Arizona. This is never more evident than in the winter. As the weather started to cool down a couple weeks ago, I began to notice these changes. My skin was dryer than usual, and I started to feel mildly constipated. Oddly enough, drinking more water has never solved this problem, and the only observable effect that increased water consumption seems to have for me is that I have to go to the bathroom every 20 minutes. Ugh!

One of the reasons that pure water is hard to absorb is that water molecules tend to cluster together in large packs, making them hard to absorb. Some water companies attempt to remedy this by alkalizing their water, so as to break down the clusters into smaller ones. Sadly, I have not found this to be effective.

I decided to try an experiment: instead of drinking water as usual, why not try a large amount of herbal tea instead? This has several benefits:

 

  • Because solutes are introduced, clusters of water are broken up, allowing for much greater hydration.
  • Tea tastes much better (and is more interesting to the palate) than water alone.
  • Herbal teas have numerous health benefits, from detoxification to nourishment and anti-aging properties.

Over the course of the day, I drank six large mugs of the tea, re-brewing as I went. I started around 11 am and continued until 6 PM. Oddly enough, I noticed that my thirst quickly subsided, and I did not have the kind of non-stop bathroom trips that I usually get when I drink a lot of water.

I slept amazingly well and felt very refreshed the next morning. As I opened my eyes, I noticed that my eyelids felt light. My skin felt plumper, tighter, and much softer, and when I saw my reflection, my skin looked flawless. My hair was also less greasy than it usually is upon waking.

After 6 large mugs of Daily Detox in one day, I woke up like this!

 

I noticed that my digestion was improved, and I had no signs of weather-induced constipation. I had more energy and mental clarity throughout the day. All of this was after just one day! I will definitely be drinking large quantities of Daily Detox tea (and other herbal blends) every day.
