Pumpkin Spice Chai is a super tasty and healthy tea. It’s got a little bit of caffeine for a gentle energy lift, and a boost of beta carotene from what looks like pumpkin but is actually persimmons. Persimmons add a natural sweetness, and are believed to protect your body from damaging free radicals.

Andrew, a long time member of the Loose Leaf team, created a delicious way to enjoy Pumpkin Spice Chai as a latte. It’s a vegan version of a fall classic that’s tasty, and full of protein, magnesium, potassium, antioxidants, and healthy fats.
To prepare a single serving:
- Simmer two tablespoons of Pumpkin Spice Chai blend in twelve ounces of water in a covered saucepan over low heat for approximately ten minutes.
- Strain and place in a high-powered blender along with 1/3 cup of raw cashews, 1 tablespoon of maple syrup, and a tiny pinch of sea salt.
- Blend on high until smooth.
- Pour into your favorite glass or mug and garnish with a dash of nutmeg.
Enjoy!
