Milk oolong gets its name from the unique sweet milky favor that naturally occurs when there is a sudden drop in temperature during the harvest season. Like all oolongs, Milk Oolong is a semi-fermented tea that undergoes an artisanal process in order to produce the unique flavors and aromas that are distinctly oolong.
(note: this product is completely vegan and contains no actual milk)
Brewing instructions: steep 1 - 2 teaspoons Milk Oolong in 1 cup hot water for 2 - 3 minutes. Adjust amounts and steeping times to personal preference. Don't toss those leaves after the first steep, as there is still lots of flavor and vitality in the leaves. Pour on more hot water and enjoy until the flavor runs out. Milk and sugar are not recommended, but it is tasty over ice.
