The proper and full name of this tea is Iron Goddess Ti Quan Yin Oolong Tea. The flavor is complex and subtle, and not easy to describe, because you experience the flavor and aroma together in layers. There are floral elements, an earthy fullness, expansive lightness, soft fragrance, and notes that are both sweet and refreshing.Â

Brewing instructions:
Steep 1 teaspoon Ti Quan Yin in 1 cup hot water for 2 - 3 minutes. Adjust amounts and steeping times to personal preference. Most Oolong leaves can be steeped multiple times, and Ti Quan Yin is no exception. The large leaves slowly unfold in the hot water; this opening is poetically called "the agony of the leaf". Brew it in a clear mug to watch it all happen.Â

Yes! In fact, we encourage steeping your tea leaves more than once to explore how our teas change each time you brew them. However, we do recommend adding another minute or two to your total steep time with every new brew.
HOW LONG DOESÂ LOOSE LEAF TEAÂ STAY FRESH?
From the date of purchase, your loose leaf tea will be at peak freshness for a year. We are obsessed with freshness and potency, which is why we make each blend in small batches in our tea store in Phoenix, Arizona.
