Teas for Baths

There’s nothing like a fragrant, warm bath to find peace and happiness. But if you’re a bath lover, you know that pure, natural bath liquids can be hard to come by, and high quality organic bath bombs can cost you a small fortune when baths are a frequent ritual. Fortunately, you can use your favorite Loose Leaf Tea Market blends to spice up your bath time! These teas not only give you a great bathing experience, but benefit your body’s largest organ- your skin- in its entirety! So, we wrote this article to give you a few ideas for how to make tea baths from your favorite blends. (Isn’t it incredible how versatile your teas are?)

Moroccan Rose Mint

Rose baths are so sensual and beautifying! This bath has the extra added benefit of green tea and spearmint for a fragrant, antioxidant-rich, luxurious experience. Steep two extra-strong quarts of Moroccan Rose Mint tea, and add it to your warm bathwater. For an extra infusion of rose, add two droppers full of Rose Hydrosol or a couple drops of Rose Blend essential oil to your bath!

Jasmine Green

You would be hard pressed to find a beverage that smells better than jasmine tea. But did you know that jasmine also benefits your skin? With the added skin-beautifying boost of green tea, this bath is not only a sensory heaven, but a nourishing soak for the entire surface of your skin. To make this bath, strongly brew two to three quarts of Jasmine Green tea, and add it to your warm bathwater. A couple drops of sweet orange essential oil make a nice addition to this bath!

Sinus Relief

Maybe you have used Sinus Relief tea as a facial steam or to clear your congestion, but did you know that it also makes for an invigorating bath? Transport yourself to bliss by adding one to two very strongly brewed quarts of tea to your warm bathwater. For an extra boost, add a few small crystals of menthol to your bath, and see how your breathing comes alive!

Oh My Fungus Amongus

If you suffer from candida, toenail fungus, or other microbial parasites, you can consume Oh My Fungus Amongus internally, or use it as a foot or body bath. For the latter, add three very strong quarts of tea to your warm bathwater. If you do this, your body will thank you for days to come. We think this bath is excellent on its own, but an exfoliating skin brush will be even more detoxifying.

Inflammation Relief

Inflammation is the cause of most common skin disorders as well as a significant source of skin aging. Therefore, it is so important to keep inflammation at bay. Our Inflammation Relief tea does wonders internally, but it also helps your body to heal from the outside in. Add two to four quarts of very strongly brewed Inflammation Relief tea to your warm bath, and if you desire, you can also add a few drops of lavender essential oil.
