I love this time of year for the amazing fruits that are in season! In the last few weeks, I’ve found the juiciest, most delicious strawberries—and so, I was inspired to make this smoothie bowl. I love incorporating herbs and superfoods into my smoothies, and so for this bowl, I use Strawberry Kiss green tea. Let’s get started!
Serves 2.
You will need:
2 Young Thai Coconuts (flesh only, preferably frozen, chopped into small pieces for easy blending)
1 cup Strawberry Kiss cold-brewed tea (strong)
1.5 Frozen Bananas
2 tbsp. Cashew or Macadamia Butter
1 cup fresh, ripe Strawberries + More for garnish
¼ cup pure dark Maple Syrup
Chopped fresh Peaches (garnish)
Chopped Pistachios (garnish)
Dried Coconut (garnish)
In a food processor, combine the Strawberry Kiss with the frozen bananas and nut butter. Add in the maple syrup, strawberries, and coconut meat (do not add the water, as this will make the filling too thin) and blend thoroughly until creamy. Add to bowls. Layer with chopped fresh strawberries, peaches, pistachios, and coconut, and serve.
