Summer is finally here, and choosing between indulging at cookouts and being in shape for the beach can be a struggle. In this post, we have a nice solution: an easy chai tea recipe that will help you digest heavier meals (if you happen to pig out) and lose weight. So, you can have your cake and eat it too!

This chai tea recipe is from Kerala, India (my next stop after Coimbatore), and is called Sulaimani Chai. It’s super easy, perfect hot or cold, and it’s good for all seasons (so you can use this during the holidays, too)! Let’s get started.
You will need:
1 tbsp. Go Chai
½ tsp. fresh grated ginger
½ tsp. fresh lemon juice
1 tsp. coconut nectar or honey (or to taste)
Prepare the Go Chai according to the instructions. Towards the end of the simmer, add in the ginger, allow it to steep, and strain. Add in the lemon and sweetener, and enjoy!
